Professional Supervision
I am devoted to nurturing professional growth and creativity as part of helping therapists to build their unique strengths and to develop confidence in their work. Support is provided to explore clinical challenges, assessment and treatment techniques, professional identity, career goals and job search strategies. The supervisory relationship is embedded within a framework of deep respect for sociocultural experience, theoretical learning and relational experiences.
Theoretical Orientation to Supervision
Supervision is an important nutrient that fosters professional style and clinical expertise. The approach is individualized and is based on each therapist's relational strengths and the needs of the clients they serve. The theoretical orientation emphasizes relational, attachment, neurobiologial, developmental and art therapy theories.
Credentialing
Supervision hours are applicable for ATCB credentialing and Oregon LPC licensure (if approved by the Oregon licensure board as part of a registered intern plan).
